The ultimate objective of the blog is to provide better and clear understanding on importance of employee motivation and the benefits of it, as well as to provide relevant suggestions on modification of strategies used by organizations.
It is vigilant to keep the balance between both motivation types: Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation propositional in order to attain employee commitment to achieve organizational goals and objectives (Legault ,2016).
The Three needs of McClelland’s theory including need for affiliation, need for power, and need for achievement (Armstrong and Taylor, 2014) need to be aligned and properly conduct controls and measures to keep up the motivation of the employees within the organization (Singh,2017).
Meanwhile, the underlying concept of theories X and Y is that an employer's management philosophy influences the kind of workplace culture it wants to establish and, ultimately, how it treats its employees (Chukwuma and Okafor, 2014).
To increase employee motivation and productivity, management should adopt new modern work environment and communication system (Korzynski, 2013). Numerous advantages result from having a motivated workforce, including employee engagement, reduced staff turnover, as well as improved management relations, employee performance, quality, and customer service (Faisal,2017).
